When most people hear the word hero they automatically think about Spiderman, Batman, or Ironman. They also think that the hero is typically a man, notice that a lot of hero names end in the word “man”. A hero does not have to be some outstanding person with x-ray vision, spider webs, and invisibility. Heroes in society today do not need any special gadgets or abilities. Heroes in a modern day world would demonstrate qualities such as being confident, vigilant, and selfless. Someone who is confident is comfortable with themselves and their actions. Confidence gives the person that feeling that they can achieve anything they desire. Thinking about things in a positive way and not negative shows confidence. People who don’t abstain from anything have a lot of confidence.” Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities!
