Arriving home a day earlier from his business trip, Mike wanted to surprise his wife. After a busy trip, he was happy that he had not forgotten her anniversary present before leaving town. While driving, he reevaluated his life and decided in spite of the problems he was a lucky man with a successful business, nice family, the freedom to do as he pleased ─ most of the time.
Entering the house, Mike noticed Louise was watching TV in the family room with a drink in her hand, she asked, “Did you have a nice trip?”
“The meeting was quite informative,” Mike explained, “they accepted the plans I delivered, but I heard Brian lost the bid on remodeling the factory. I was hoping he would get the job so we could get together more often.”

“The police have been unable to locate Darrell Josickly, President of Modern Day Girl Cosmetic Factory. However, today a hiker found his employee badge near Putney Mountain. After searching for other evidence to indicate, he was nearby, but so far they have found nothing.”
Switching the channels trying to get the full story, Mike said, “Wow, can you imagine?” He knew they had recently announced the cosmetic factory was doing exceptionally well and planned to expand it. When he failed to find any other details about the missing president, he turned off the TV and went to bed with no intention of mentioning it to his wife. Knowing she would certainly make some stupid ass remark. +++
