Parenting is not easy. This is why it is important to team up with your spouse or your child’s other parent and work out the best way to co-parent. This interaction can shape your child’s future outlook on relationships and interpersonal skills. Children that are able to observe their parents interacting in a respectful manner were more likely to exhibit that type of behavior later in life. If you and your child’s other parent need to argue, it should be done when the children are away and cannot overhear what is being said.
