Rotating through MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Radiation Therapy, and Interevtional/Specials has given me great insight into each modality and what it has to offer. Out of these seven, MRI has interested me the most. I cant exactly pin point what it is about this modality that has sparked my interest. To be quite honest, the thought alone of going through the gantry makes me claustrophobic! But something has drawn me to write about this modality more than the others and maybe even consider becoming certified one day. And so my research begins! …show more content…
I should have know just by it being “Friday the 13th” I was in for an interesting three hours! There were 17 cases scheduled for that day, not including any add ons. The assignment was to document 2 cases but as I was preparing to document my second case, a STAT came in, so you will find three cases listed in this paper. I’ve also included the “Technologist Checklist” which is used during evaluating the patient. Please note that no technologists or student were hurt or traumatized during cases 1 and 2, but I cant say the same for case
