Mockingjay Book Report

Mockingjay takes place in the United States, the story is placed in a city named Panem which has a Capital and twelve districts apart of it. Panem is the richest district while the other twelve are poorly built and just as poor in funds. District twelve is where our main character Katniss lives along with Peeta and Gale, this is their home.
Characters:
Katniss Everdeen, is one of the faces of District twelve. She symbolizes the Mockingjay, which is used in the story to symbolize hope and suffering, Katniss also is the leader of the Rebels and it is because of her that the rebellion has come to an end. She is bold, humble, and keen.
Peeta Mellark, is another face of District twelve and in this book he is captured by the Capital after the
