Mobile phones have come a long way - to think, at one point in time it was used only to call. Fast-forward to modern day, where we are logging online and accessing platforms that traditionally were only available on desktops.

With this in mind, Google AdWords has had to address the mobile phone usage by introducing new tools and features, to name a few: allow advertisers to create adverts to be set on mobiles, create call-only adverts for mobiles, allow us to bid on mobile traffic and much more.Granted, we have accepted the fact that the way we use mobiles has changed, but the services and information we seek is the same.

Scott’s article ‘Mobile-Friendly Isn’t Enough For Local Businesses: 3 Pitfalls To Avoid, From A Recent #LocalU Hangout’ featured in Search Engine Land stresses the importance of user experience alongside a mobile responsive site.

Recently, there have been articles circulating about having separate landing pages for mobile traffic, especially for paid traffic and well - I agree! Why? Your target market’s psychology, speed of internet and attention span is reduced, and by making the information concise, you will be able to increase your leads by providing a better user experience.
