Introduction Today’s society can be referred to as the “age of technology.” With the many new technology advancements and inventions, today’s society has become technically savvy. People of different age groups, backgrounds, and professions have experienced using various forms of technology. From televisions, music playing devices, tablets, video games, and laptop computers, technology has greatly affected and influenced today’s society. In the beginning, cell phones were mainly used for talking, but gradually features like voicemail were added. Cell phone companies eventually discovered ways to integrate other technologies into the phone to expand its features. In recent years, cell phones have evolved from just being used for communication verbally to being used to check ones email, take photos, and access social media. Cell phones have evolved so much that they are beginning to take the place of other gadgets. Not only has the technology of cell phones evolved, but the appearance of cell phone has also changed. Original car phones were bulky and inconvenient to carry; however, companies began creating phones drastically smaller and sleeker than cell phones in the past.
