Fortunately, some have begun to investigate ways to integrate cell phones into the teaching and learning environment” (Attewell, n.d.; Park, 2005). The majority of young teenagers having access to millions of business, schooling, and live news sites is remarkable.
We as a generation have the power to reach out and help the ones who are less fortunate. Instead of thinking that cellphones are the ultimate worst thing that has occurred to this generation, we can process it as a vital piece of technology to serve human connection and possibility. Cellphones allow us to extend coverage over what is happening into a moment of our lives, while also allowing us to quickly share important news that often doesn’t appear on the daily paper.
