RECOGNITION OF PROBLEM
Buying a cell phone requires a lot of time and efforts. Especially when, today smartphones are expected to be used for variety of everyday tasks. I recognized the need for a new cellphone when my old one started to be slower, indicating that it is not capable of performing more and more complex tasks that I have to conduct on daily basis. The battery is also very weak and I am often in a situation where I have to my phone off when I need it. I rely on my cell phone to contact my parents and my friends, I use it to access my emails and assignments and I enjoy watching videos and playing games. Besides, I also use it to listen to music almost every day.

Now, I came to the question of price. A lot of new phones on the market are simply too expensive for me. They fit my profile of desired cell phone perfectly but I simply cannot afford them. So I decided to use the offer of mobile operators to buy a cell phone and pay the smaller price, but agreeing on monthly fee (two year contract). I would save on the costs of mobile traffic, and still get the phone without having to borrow money. However, I would be in obligation to pay a certain amount every month for the next twenty four …show more content…
I searched: www.pcmag.com, www.phonearena.com, www.cnet.com and some local sites. I gathered that Lenovo has attractive features, but the screen is disappointing; Huawei turned out to be “inexpensive” copy of Samsung Galaxy series but many users stated they had problems with colors; Microsoft Lumia has a lot of problems with the operating system and tends to overheat and throttle the performance of the phone back making it noticeably slower. iPhone seemed to be the logical solution, but upon checking the prices, I disregarded the idea considering you could get much better phones for the price. HTC got my attention, people seemed to be very satisfied with the company and one of their models was voted the best cell phone on the world several years in a row. And I had used one of their phones, though a very long time ago but I still remember an enjoyable experience. Samsung has a huge variety of phones to choose form but they are more expensive than other brands. I had previous experience with LG and I did not want another phone of that brand. Sony was also highly rated by users, most people seemed very satisfied with their purchase.
I researched the websites of the three providers operating in Serbia: MTS, Telenor and VIP. I checked and rechecked and came up with the choice of tree cell

My friend just purchased the new iPhone 7 and needs to choose a phone carrier. There are two plans to choose from, Verizon and AT&T. I had to figure out which plan would be better, (cheaper), to recommend to my friend. AT&T offered a plan with a $.20 per text charge and a $15 initiation fee, while Verizon offered a plan with a $.10 per text message fee and a $70 initiation fee. I found, by comparing the two plans algebraically, that AT&T would be better if my friend is planning on sending less than 550 texts per month, and Verizon would be better if they are planning on sending more than 550 texts.…
