Sports massage helps the to fighter recover by flush the body full of blood to aid in the repair of microtrauma accumulated during training. Many fighters such as Mirsad Bektic has realized the benefit of adding sports massage to their training saying “Massage keeps the muscles loose and limber, which is what you need to compete professionally,” . Before the fight, massage can help calm the fighter's mind if he is too anxious, or stimulate him if he's feeling lethargic.
