And Dr. Reid use a prudent and teaching lecture way to present topic. Secondly, their backgrounds are different too; Mr. Kawasaki has a great professional career in sale and marketing. He learned a lot marketing skill to support his ideas on this. But Dr. Reid, who used to be a professor then change into a small business entrepreneur, small business start-up expert and business catalyst. Mr. Kawasaki presented, let your product speak idea and conclude who is your main target population. From thinking as sale product to build up your ultimate business goal, making profits for your company. In other words, he thought the mission statement is significant to employees, a company should have a simple one to let employees to strongly believe and remember. For instance, he mentioned “Wendy’s” and “Nike” as examples to supports his opinion. Finally, he said you should use the economic way to start up your business, instead of spending million dollars to write a mission statement.
