Living in the dorms, receiving hands-on training in several medical situations, as well as just getting a glimpse of what student life is like at MU was amazing. The university offers me everything I am looking for in a college and more: an impressive nursing program, a large and diverse population of students, a phenomenal recreation center, and NCAA athletics to be involved in and excited about! My parents had not graduated high school, therefore once college applications became relevant, they unfortunately could not help me. Through 25 different scholarships, I was able to attend OSU without any loans and truly believed I was on the right track to achieving the "American Dream". To my dismay, once classes began, I was lost.…

True and significant life is found in Jesus Christ and because of my firm conviction of this it has been my primary objective to point people to Jesus. Being persuaded that Christ wants Christians and especially those who take leadership roles to minister to the needs of others, I have ordered my life to conform to that conviction. Ultimately, Jesus desires that each Christian serves him by serving others; this is accomplished in a variety of ways – feeding those who are hungry, teaching everyone the life saving Gospel, and by leading in a way that reflects the glory of Christ. It has been my immense pleasure to have had the opportunity to preach God’s Word to thousands of people over the past fifteen years. It is my sincere passion to see people embrace Christ Jesus as their Lord and savior and to be transformed by the renewing of their minds through the Word of God.…

If I were judged based upon physical appearances alone, in which quite often I am, I'd be a stereotype, but as one engages in the most simplistic form of conversation with me, my level of intelligence speaks for itself. I am a very positive spirit, never in a bad mood, and welcoming of all walks of life. I am the student, who attempts to break the ice, and relates to everyone on a universal topic, so that we can all agree upon a common discussion to start great friendships.
