Mitch Kupchak born May 24 , 1954. Mr.Kupchak is 62 years old. He was born in Hicksville, New York. Mitch is married to Claire Mitch, they had two children . His daughter Alina Claire Kupchak died on January 5, 2015. Also he makes his money because he is the General Manger for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was also a NBA player he went 13th in the first round of the 1976 draft. He played for the Washington Bullets, which is now the Wizards of today's NBA.Also he finished his basketball career with the Laker. He played power forward and he went to college at North Carolina. Also he won three NBA championships, also made the all rookie team in 1977. In college he ACC player of the year in 1976 ,which was the year he also went to the draft. He …show more content…
Their worst season was 2014-2015 they finished 21-61. He made some smart decisions for the team and also made some dumb decisions also. The Gm is now working to fix the lakers program up by acquiring veteran players to work with the young talent that they have. The Lakers have players like D’angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle , and now have Brandon Ingram from the recent NBA draft. The program will be better because of the young depth that they have. The Buss family has ownership of the Los Angeles Lakers. Jerry Buss was born January 27, 1933.He passed away in 2013 on February 18th. Mr.Buss was born in Salt Lake City , Utah. Buss was married to JoAnn Muller and they divorced in 1972. Both of these men have done a lot of great things for this team and have brought lots of big success. Mitch Kupchak is a smart general manager because he makes good moves when it comes to drafting and trading players to better the program. He is definity in a good position in being apart of the programs decision making. Jerry Buss was also smart that is why he won so many championship as the leader of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Laker are now controlled by his children and it seems that they have a lot ahead of them with a young laker core of players. These players are really good so it seems that they job will not be to hard but they may have to keep building around these young guys. The recent draft when the lakers got Brandon Ingram it seems he is going to bring a lot to the Lakers based off his summer league performance.
