A living funeral is a funeral but instead of being dead you’re alive so you can get the satisfaction of hearing what all of your close ones have to say about you before your time comes. Mitch barely made it in time for Morrie’s living funeral because he had a whole flight to go through before getting to Morrie’s house. When Mitch first took the time to see Morrie after sixteen years the look on Morries face when Mitch got out of the car was priceless. Mitch first was in a really important phone call and when Morrie first noticed Mitch, he had to act like he was finding something so he could finish his phone call without hanging up. When he got out of the car they acted like strangers but deep down with no matter how much pain and suffering Morrie is going through he still noticed his favorite student. “So after all these years you still won't give your old friend a hug?” Morrie spoke out.
