Do you receive food stamp or any other government assistance .Many people use this program. But, there are also many that do not meet the requirements. There are some that are abusing it every day faithfully. Which leads to the topic of this paper I have chosen the topic “The Misuse of Welfare” or this capstone research paper.
I feel that this program should be addressed on the regular. This paper will inform us how we can prevent this from happening in the future. It will also inform you about what people are doing to misuse this program. I will lastly inform you about the most dependent states on welfare. The topic is very interesting. The most common thing that there doing to abuse this program is selling their food stamps for money, to buy drugs and alcohol. Many people are falsifying their documents so they will continue to meet the requirements, there are many other ways people are misusing it .For example, many people keep having kids to remain on the program. We need to come to a conclusion to stop this problem.
Lastly, I will be informing you about which state is most dependent on welfare. I research and i found out that Kentucky ranked number one is most dependent. It percent was 76.16%.Tennessee was ranked number eight in the most dependence of welfare. It’s percent was 61.76% Its very shocking that Tennessee was ranked that high up because Tennessee population is not as high as the other states.
To summarize this paper there are a lot of people that are abusing welfare there should be a stop to this.
