Essentially a Value statement is a declaration that advises customers and staff alike about the companies’ core values and primary priorities are. The Value Statement is often utilized by companies to assist the company identify or connected with a targeted group of consumers and can serve as a reminder to associates about its goals and priorities.
I decided to research Kettering Health Network (KHN) here in the Dayton, Ohio area. Kettering Health Network’s Mission statement is as follows: “We are dedicated to excellence and to providing each individual the most appropriate care in the most appropriate setting. In the spirit of Seventh-day Adventist health care ministry, we strive to be innovative and to convey God's love in a caring environment.” Kettering Health Networks Vision Statement is as follows: “Kettering Health Network will be recognized as the leader in transforming the health care experience.” Kettering Health Network does not have a Value Statement listed, but KHN does list its values on their website. Their core values are as follows:
