a) A mission statement is defined as a formal summary either a short sentence or paragraph that explains an individual’s, corporation’s or organisation’s aims and values in concise terms. A mission statement describes how the party will go about achieving its goals and includes its strengths. I would agree that source A and B are examples of personal mission statements.
In source A, Mahatma Gandhi uses active statements such as “I shall” and “I will” to describe his aims and goals, such as “I shall conquer untruth by truth” which also illustrates his values. Aims, goals and values are all explained in mission statements.
In source B, Ben Franklin crafts a list of values and defines them in his own words, such as “Sincerity: use no hurtful

b) I think the creation of a timeline would be difficult for me as I am impatient and often want to achieve the end result quicker than realistically possible. I could possibly become distracted or stray away from my goal if it’s too far in the future; which will only prolong me achieving my goals. In order to ensure that this does not happen, I would create a constant reminder of the end goal. For example, if I want to lose weight and get a six pack or a strong core, I could put a photo of a girl with the body I strive towards as the wallpaper on my phone. Another step I’ll take to ensure I stick to the timeline aspect is to set lots of short term goals that collectively result in the long term
