I'm currently pursuing a Master of Art in Theology at Whitworth University. Whitworth's mission is to equip its diverse student by providing an education of mind and heart. This mission statement attracted me to Whitworth compared to the other schools I got accepted at. An education of mind seeks to help a student pursue a rigorous study that will enable them create solutions to make the world a better place, while an education of the heart seeks to kindle a compassion to heal, inspire, protect and provide for the weak, marginalized, and the poor amongst us and globally. After completing my first semester and looking forward to the next two years at Whitworth, I have concluded that I made the right choice to study there, and the education
