Mission Bay Beach Research Paper

Improved Essays
Mission Bay Beach is a peaceful place if one were to want a relaxing day at the beach. In the distance, the ocean is calm and the waves are small. Anyone would feel at peace in this environment. the smell of the salty sea and the sound of seagulls are brought to a minimum. For example, the birds hardly invade privacy, and the salted air doesn’t distract people from the food. In the soft warm sand, there sits a fire pit where one can enjoy a bonfire. When it gets too cold, it can provide warmth against the cool breeze; it’s like being covered in a blanket. Furthermore, the smell of the burning wood and the crackling of the fire can make one feel cozy. One could sit there for hours just basking in the moment, taking in what was happening around

Santa Cruz (sacred or holy cross) Cemetery offers an intriguing window into Gold Country’s legendary past and a pastoral foothill landscape reminiscent of early California before the world rushed in. At the entrance an interesting stone monument placed by E Clampus Vitus reveals a brief history of the place, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. It is 22 miles from Los Angeles which is where you board the ship that takes you to Catalina. When you are outside (or sometimes even when you are inside), the temperature is normally really warm and sometimes humid so I would suggest bringing and applying sunscreen in the morning and after every meal. Some of the native plants are eucalyptus trees, pine trees, moss, and cherry trees. The cherries that are on Catalina Island are different than what we are used to.…

Jersey Shore was a popular TV show on MTV between 2009 and 2012 about “Guidos”, or Americans of Italian descent in their twenties who rented a house together on the Jersey Shore, which was aimed at teenagers and people under thirty. Jersey Shore is affecting our culture in a negative way because the majority of people that watched it might have thought differently about Italians and think that’s all that they do. At one point, Jersey Shore became one of the most watched TV shows and I think it influenced some slang we use today. MTV is famous for making popular TV shows and sucking people in to watching them.
