Throughout this feasibility study, Mission Australia will undergo assessment of their HRM and Finances within the Stretton/Brisbane area. Mission Australia is a not-for-profit organisation as its sole objective is not to make sales or gain profit but rather to help its intended cause which is to meet human need.
2.1 Sourcing Finances
Mission Australia sources finances through individual supporters, corporate partners and philanthropic foundations. Major corporate partners who contribute largely to the funding of Mission Australia include Westpac, Allianz Australia and Qantas Foundation. (Mission Australia - About us, 2015)
2.2 Income
In 2014 Mission Australia managed to raise roughly over $350 million AUD.

3.1 Human Resources
Like most not-for-profit organisations Mission Australia reap the benefits of having unpaid labour deriving from the use of volunteers. (Mission Australia Annual Report , 2014)
3.2 Paid Employees
Mission Australia employ 3,818 paid staff members. Staff are ensured a salary package which can add up to $15,900 in tax-free pay every year. Mission Australia also offers maternity/paternity leave, paid study and salary continuance insurance (Mission Australia - Careers, n.d.).
