Missing Work Pattern

Decent Essays
I could have done better at no missing assignments. I regret the time I did not eat before PE. The biggest surprise was when I made honor roll without any F in any of my classes. The thing I liked the best was cities count because you got an extra 40 minutes to hang out with your friends. I broke these school rules chewing gum I could Not have eaten gum in class. I aim to leave all gum at home. I improve my experience here at MTMS by focusing on school work. I want to achieve no missing assignments and principals list by the end of the year. I will achieve it by keeping my planner up to date and asking questions.

It takes a moment in your life to have a self realization that will impact you for the rest of your life. In the text, “ Chasing Fairy Tales” by Lauren Fulmore she portrays the narrator as a little girl who goes through a moment in her childhood that changed her whole outlook on life. She recounts a series of adventures from her younger days to the accidental discovery of a “magical” truth. The author uses detailed examples to explain her main idea of the story.…

My personal narrative essay is about my transfer from Bible Baptist to Savannah Christian and my feelings towards the process of transferring and the first day at Savannah Christian. Overall the transfer was better than I presumed it would be because I sustained a better education than I did at Bible Baptist. The transfer taught me that sometimes change is for the greater good. If I had the ability to go back in time and tell my future self-something about this situation it would be not to be nervous just breathe. Finding out I was going to a new school could be compared to when I found out my first fish had died, heartbreaking.…

I also knew it, but I was lazy and careless. I am thankful that I have grown up and that I have begun to respect all of the opportunities given to me in life. The areas that I have improved in are definitely my study habits, and not being afraid to ask my teachers for extra help. I used to be afraid that my teachers would think I am stupid, and that they would judge me if I admitted to them that I didn’t know how to do something, or that I couldn’t do a problem. But I have recently grown to realize the it is essential to the learning process to ask your teacher 's question.…

My first year at Cedar Shoals was unforgettable, I had no idea what to expect. Most people consider going into highschool as one of the big parts of your life. I was hesitant for the change since I was going into a much bigger school and meeting new people. I went into freshman year with a positive mindset, making new friends & knowing it was going to be MY year. I had faced many successes academically and faced a few failures that I am going to improve my sophomore year so I don’t make the same mistakes.…

A couple years ago when I was in 1st grade I started at a new school in Pasadena, California. The school was called Garvanza elementary. I liked living in California and having new friends at this school, but about half the school year my mother wanted to move to Arizona with my brother, sister and I. We didn't want to leave, but my mother said that she already got a house and a job over there. Even after we kept telling her that we didn't want to leave she made us pack everything and put it in the truck.…

Unlike many of my peers, my life story is slightly different. Many of my peers share the story of living in a single parent home, being homeless, violence, and poverty. However, in my case, living in a two parent household is strange to hear about to my peers. For me, living in a two parent household means more work because of my desire to receive a full scholarship. Upon my research, I noticed that many of my older peers would receive better college financial opportunities because of their life experiences.…

So overall this week was good. I feel like I accomplished a lot with the students. I spent an entire resource period helping a student get caught back up on her math home work because she was missing the week before. During a lunch period we had a student on ISS or In School Suspension and I helped the student do assignments that they were working on. Durring that lunch period I also went through the learning contract again and check off things that Ive done through out the entire ten weeks I have been there that I may have missed while doing placement journals.…

These are the things that made my high school experience worthwhile, the bad reports made me pushed further and inspire me to work harder. The number of subjects showed me how to get things done in an organized manner, and the school rules molded me in such. High school has its ups and downs and I can say it is a very important time in our lives that seems to mold us into the persons that we wish to be in the near future. I can gladly say I enjoyed the five years that I spent at William Knibb, it was a wonderful experience and I had some excellent teachers who would stop at nothing until we learn, for that I am grateful.…

High school is a time in life where many important lessons are learned to help a person grow into something better. I have made mistakes in my time in high school and from those experiences I have learned valuable lessons. My freshman and sophomore years I was not a good student. I was not motivated to academically better myself and because of that my grades suffered heavily. Those years of carelessness do not accurately represent me as the student I am now.…

I've made a lot of mistakes, just like any other person, but one shining example that comes to mind when I think about growth from personal failure is my freshman year of high school. I failed English, Algebra, and Health. I had to spend three days in summer school recovering credits. My freshman year of high school was a tough year. I hope that throughout the course of reading this paper, you will understand not only more about me, but also why I am this way. I was named after the leader, Joshua, who led the Israelites after Moses. My parents always thought that I would grow into a strong person, and a leader. From my father, Ismael Pereira DaSilva, I received my surname: DaSilva. As my middle and last name would suggest, my family originates overseas, specifically in Brazil.…

This semester has been a very difficult, stressful, and challenging for me . High School can not compare the amount of stress I had to face in this fall semester at Hostos Community College. However, it is like that with many other students because making a transition is frightening and many of us find a way to run away from it. Everything in life is a challenge and it is scary as well, but for those who want to study it all starts of with college. It took me more than words to actually realize the reality that I am actually living right at this very moment because, I was not expecting so many things to fall apart, but somehow becoming whole again.…
