Course Description:
The course has the objective of enabling students to cope with the age of information, and to evaluate obtained information critically. The emphasis of the course lies on contemporary methods of information acquisition, i.e. using search engines on the Internet and
Web 2.0 technologies. However, information gathered from conventional media will also be considered. Students will be required to create and publish information themselves, and to communicate information in form of written reports or classroom presentations.

This course is delivered by e–learning. This includes:
• participation in online fora
• tutor–guided lab attendance
