Kimberly yawned furiously throughout Miss Witherson’s painfully long explanation of the relative motion of the earth and the luminiferous ether. Trying not to plunge into the relaxing abyss of sleep she dazed out of her window slowly drifting into her subconscious. This was something Kimberly cherished doing. Here she was in charge; she could be what she wanted, who she wanted to be, where she was and whether or not she was in a tedious physics lesson.
