The film Miss Representation was a great, it showed me a lot about women and the history of women that I didn’t know. Women have inspired each other to do more. Women are learning how to motivate one another. Something that caught my attention in the film was that they talked about how “our generation live off phones and Facebooks”. This is something that I agree with even though I do not have a Facebook anymore , but I do know when I did back in middle school I was always one it and that goes with my phones as well. I am constantly on my phone I rarely put it down and that can be a gift and a curse. I’ll say this apply for ever women. Although, I feel as if celebrities get that worse due to them being celebrities. With there being a lot of blogs being out, they tend to harass our women in such a negative way. I know for a fact that celebrity women have their insecurities about themselves just from the media. Even though they have a great way of not showing it because they’re strong women. Far as the film talking about women, “Reality Television make women loo stupid and missed use”. I found this to be very true. Women on reality television is not like that in real life. I sometimes wonder, why do they portray to act a certain way for television? Yes, I understand that is it about the money but I don’t think money can be that important for someone to act like something they’re really not. It is disturbing to watch our women on television fighting each other or doing wrong to one another. I found it interesting that ten percent of girls wanted to be president but when they got fourteen years old that percentage went down. I remember when I was a little girl, I wanted to be president as well. I dreamed of me living in the White House and having my husband on my side through my journey. I just had that confidence that I could be in control of our
