The directors of the play were Anthony Gregory and Emily Robinson. Miss Nelson is Missing displayed a class that is full of horrible children who will not listen to their teacher when she is trying to teach her lessons. Even with all of her kindness and compassion the children would just not listen. As Miss Swamp starts her lesson the children show a look of devastation and guilt. Miss Swamp was atrocious, she would yell at the students for not good reason. When Miss Swamp would ask the children a question before they had time to answer she would interrupt and put them down. Well the children had had enough so they had put on a search to find Miss Nelson. They missed her tremendously and wanted her to come back to school and teach the class instead of old Miss Swamp. The class went to a private investigator named Detective McSmogg and his trusty sidekick. The children quickly learn that he is not going to be much use so they go on a search for her themselves. They go to Miss Nelson’s house to see if they see anything and nothing, oh wait one of the children says her comes someone. All of the children were exclusively organized and remembered their lines very well. Even though I enjoyed the entire play there were a few of the characters that stood out to me more than the others. First there was Elvis played by Will Hoy, he was amazing. The way he played his character as a humorous and outgoing young man was great. He was funny and showed his expressions very well, and when he would sing on of Elvis’s songs he sounded close to Elvis himself. As he wore his black glasses, white shirt, blue jeans, and converses he showed he was very slick and well-groomed. Will done a wonderful job with playing this character. Caroline Kopt whom played Miss Nelson was very sweet. For her to be as young as she was I was amazed that she did not miss a single line, she stayed focused and played her part quiet well. Caroline wore her hair up in a bun, her clothes consisted of a dress down to her knees, flat shoes, and a jacket over her dress. She looked very classy and elegant. Detective McSmogg played by Sam Heidenreich what’s not so say about him. He was hilarious the way he would walk around and be so dramatic. He would play as if he was confused one minute then the next he would have you startled because he had a great idea. Detective Mcsmogg made the play very entertaining, as he was romping around with his back hunched over, and his high water pants and golfers hat. Delaney Shabel who played Kimberly showed that she had no
