Every person has unique characteristics and traits while resembling personalities of another person. No two people are exactly alike, hence the use of similarities and differences to describe their behaviours and demeanor. I decided to do my compare and contrast paper on “Our Secret” written by Isabel Allen and the story “Wicked Girl” also written by Isabel Allen. In the story “Our Secret” the young boy and young girl whose names aren’t mention they share a hurt that doesn’t let them trust one another. It seems as though these two have been through something harsh that it is hard for them to share a connection because although they do share it, it isn’t fully opened to them. “He could not talk to her about that, because one thing leads to another, and he would end up saying things that had never been spoken.” Page 167.…

Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse and The Worst Hard Time by Timothy Egan are both great sources of information about the Dust Bowl during the ”Dirty Thirties. ” ̣ However, they are very different in style.
