Alice’s personality is quite complex, displaying a wide array of different traits. One of the traits that Alice displays is that she is adventurous. An example of Alice’s adventurous side being displayed is when Alice is asking the Cheshire Cat for directions, to which Cheshire Cat replies “That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” (Carroll 57) Alice responds by saying “I don't care much where… so long as I get somewhere.” (Carroll 57). Alice really does not mind where she goes as long as there is good times and fun on the way. In addition to being adventurers Alice also shows that she is caring, loyal, and willing to stick up for people who are being mistreated. These traits are best shown when the Queen orders the execution of three gardeners, “‘You sha’n’t be beheaded!’ said Alice; and she put them into a large flower-pot that stood near.” (Carroll 72).
