It was brought to my attention that during last few weeks DBA group identified increased number of invalid accesses to the NextGen Production Repository. This is in violation of Allstate Oracle Security Standards, which state that end users must not use application user IDs to connect to a production database. I assume that attached security incidents were aligned with scheduled changes as part of a release, or to perform break-fix changes required in response to an incident. IMPORTANT!…

    E. Also suppose a malicious node M can hear A, B, C and D. The attack can be described as follows:[18] “To start the attack, M changes its MAC address to match A’s, moves closer to and out of the range of A. It then sends an RREP to B that contains a hop count to X that is less than the one sent by C, e.g., zero. Therefore B changes its route to the destination, X, to go through A, as illustrated in Figure. 1.4.…

    a. The child’s first goal in her original task of creating a machine to make spaghetti is to put a pole in the hole of one box and put the other side of the pole into the hole of another box, so they are connected. She observes that the pole will not go through the hole in the box. She then takes off the ribbed cylinders on each side pole, and slides the boxes with holes in them back down the poles. Her goal is still trying to place a pole in the side hole of one cube to connect it to the cube parallel of it. She observes that the pole will still not go through the holes of the cube.…

The question I wish to answer is why BBP formulas are so much better at calculating pi than any other method that came before it. I find it interesting that this method only provides the exact digit of pi in question and does not require the calculation of any of the previous digits of pi. For all of the methods that proceeded it like the polygon approximation and infinite series methods, each digit was required to be calculated before the next one could be found. Another compelling fact is that this avenue of calculating pi has been hypothesized as the key to discovering whether pi is truly random or not. Though it is still unproven as of now so I don’t expect to make any breakthroughs myself, uncovering more about this topic interests me…

In class discussions, one thing that really stood out to me was the discussion regarding the integration efforts within the Israeli society. Specifically, the author questions what kind of system is necessary in order to have smooth integration with the least amount of tension and culture conflict. The author then describes how he believes it is democratic pluralism. Which has been seen in Switzerland and Canada. Also how one had to maintain silence, as it talks about when the author explains his realization on the gravity of the ethnic problem in Israel in 1951.…
