Miriam is a 27-year-old Christian mum who had a great job as a reporter in Iran, she was a “fashionista” and loved walking in high heels. However, when the Islamic Regime came, they took over the station she worked for, and censured all the pieces the new station was writing about, in top of that, they fired Miriam because of the way she was dressed, since she did not want to cover herself, however, later on, she was pushed to the limited to do so, just to not to be killed by the Iranian Government. He is taught so to obey his elders, and to follow their rules. He loves his parents, and when his dad is not around, he feels like he has to take care of his mum.
Ahmed 35-year-old former pilot is like a big brother for Omar. He also works with Omar in the cab company, however, Amir is gay, and the only person that knows is Omar and Miriam. It is not allowed to be homosexual in Iran, therefore Amir can not be with another man, if he chooses to do so, the Iranian Government will publicly execute him.
Amir is a 50 year old man, however, he looks very old, he had been in the sun for many years, and is a man who is on a quest to a better land, he has gone all the way from the south to the north in hope to reach the borders to Turkey. His values and beliefs is towards his villagers which has followed him and raised one by one travelling all the way from the south to the north. He hates the war that have happened, however, he feels a pride of gathering so many people to join him to the land of freedom.
Maria (40) a former flight attends and friend of Ahmed, she got to know him from work, and is happy to help Miriam out. Her values are that she is loyal, and that she always secretly admired
