On 10/20/2016, in Durango 4 D Pod cell 56 at approximately 2145 hours, I noticed Inmate Schlicht, Nathan R T302915 had a bruise on his left eye with a bandage covering it up. I stopped and asked him what had happened to his eye and he stated “I hit it on my bunk." At approximately 2146 I had locked D-Pod down and had Inmate Schlicht step out so he could be taken to medical to receive medical attention for his injury.

At approximately 2150 hours, I notified Sergeant Burnside B1124 that I was sending Inmate Schlicht up to medical for his black eye.

At approximately 2157 hours Officer Lerma B2661 escorted Inmate Schlicht up to medical, prior to arriving at medical Officer Lerma took photos of Inmate Schlicht. Inmate Schlicht was seen by RN Stacey RT710 at 2200 hours. Inmate Schlicht was ordered to Maricopa Integrated Health Service (MIHS) via Ambulance per NP Susan Orscch HS115. …show more content…
I asked Inmate Schlitcht I asked Inmate Schlitcht if he understood his rights. He replied with, "Yes." I then asked if he would voluntarily answer my questions. Inmate Schlitcht replied with, "Yes." I then proceeded to ask him what caused the fight to occur. Inmate Schlitcht stated, “I was just general testosterone." Sergeant Johanning A9075 asked do you know the other inmates name. Inmate Schlitcht stated, "No." Sergeant Johanning asked Inmate Schlitcht why he lied earlier as to the source of his injury. Inmate Schlitcht replied, “I didn’t want to look like a snitch. Inmate Schlitcht also stated, "It was a mutual fight." Sergeant Johanning asked Inmate Schlitcht if he was willing to aide in prosecution?" and Inmate Schlitcht stated, "No" there was nothing further at that
