Over many of the miracles that Jesus performs throughout His ministry on earth, I consider the miracles of Jesus walks on water as one of the "coolest" miracles that reveal the significance meaning of who Jesus is. This miracles recorded in three of the Gospels (Mat 14:22-36; Mark 6:45-56: John 6:16-21) and it was this miracle that, more than any other, "convinced Jesus's disciples that He was indded the Son of God. We could see that in the expression of the disciples in Matthew 14:32-33. In other words, this particular miracle gives the disciples a new revelation about the person of Christ compared to what they saw in the miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand, healing the sick people, or cast out demons. I believe this miracles has presented

Jealousy comes when one's focus is taken off God and put upon the world. Hebrews 13:4 states “but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” God's Word also states in I Corinthians 3:17 “if any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy.” The purity of mankind should be maintained, therefore the jealous husband was to bring her before the priest who would carry out all the law. Devils love the destruction of relations between a man and his wife.…

Jesus had great crowds of people who followed and believed him, the Jewish became jealous of Jesus and decide to kill him.…

Your comparison from Moses and Jesus is very interesting and clear. The life of both was saved with a purpose: Moses rescued the Israelites from the slavery of Pharaoh and Jesus rescued his people from the slavery of sin. One amazing point is that Moses lived and die many years before Jesus was born. However, they are impressively…

Jesus is visited by people referred to as wise men, kings, or the magi. The gifts which the magi bring to Jesus are consistently described as gold, frankincense and myrrh. These three gifts were standard gifts to honor a king or deity in the ancient world: gold as a precious metal, frankincense as perfume or incense, and myrrh as anointing oil. While these gifts had a very practical purpose, there is also a great deal of spiritual symbolism in the gifts offered in terms of Jesus as Priest, Prophet and King. Jesus gave us all a better gift: The gift of a clean slate and forgiveness from our sins; all you have to do is take the gift.…

Upon Jesus baptism He would begin the work that His Father had called Him to do. Jesus is the King and founder of His kingdom that would defeat all other kingdoms and bring all into His submission. His first encounter would be against the one who is the “prince of this world” and holder of the opposite power. The start of Jesus work on this earth would begin with the temptation though there were no previous teachings that the Messiah would have to face such temptations. One teaching proclaimed by the rabbis was that Messiah would come someday and stand upon the roof of the sanctuary and pronounce His coming.…

Throughout the semester, we have explored the many miracles performed by Jesus. Miracles are considered to be a welcome event that is the work of divine Jesus. O’Collins supports the concept of Jesus being divine and performing miracles successfully on page 59 by stating, “The personal authority with which Jesus taught and performed his miracles was blatant.” One of the many miracles performed by Jesus is his healing of the Paralytic Man. As stated in Mark 2:1, “A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people head that he had come home.…

What happened way before Jesus was put to death and what happened just before he was put to death, tie very closely into why he was killed. Like every other person who ever lived and died on this Earth, Jesus had a past, a family, and a birth place. The story of Jesus’ birth, according to the Bible, is quite humbling and is a bit like this: There was a young girl who lived in Nazareth named Mary. It never says her actual age in the Bible, but girls could get betrothed, which was like getting engaged but the father picks the man and they have to act like they're already married, as young as 12 back then, so it is estimated that she would have been around 12-16 at the time. She was betrothed to a carpenter named Joseph.…

Jesus, the Son, is one of the three parts that make up the trinity. He is the son of God who became human and was sent to Earth to save us. God sent Jesus so that we would be lead to live more faithful and meaningful lives. By becoming human, Jesus was able to experience some of the daily sinning that people commit. This means that Jesus got a personal and close look at humans and their sinfulness.…

In the passage Matthew 14:22 – 33, Matthew describes the scene in which the boat housing the disciples is being fiercely beaten by the waves in the ocean. The disciples have been alone, straining at the oars and struggling against the wind and the water for hours to keep afloat and they are tired. It isn’t until the fourth watch of the night that Jesus appears to them in the middle of the sea, walking on water. The disciples are fearful and Jesus dispels any doubts they may have had by using words of reassurance. Jesus says, “It is I. Don’t be afraid”.…

In this essay, I will be talking about what I believe to be true from what Jesus tells us in the Bible, about being the Son of God and how He was here to die on the cross for our sins, showing everyone who He was and who ever believe in Him is save, or healed if they were sick. In this paper, I will be talking about the trustworthiness and historicity of the Gospels. The historical reliability of the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ miracles, and did Jesus claim to be God. Did his disciples believe he was God? The accuracy of the resurrection accounts in the Gospels, that is, did Jesus rise bodily from the dead?…

INTRODUCTION God is not the author of confusion, the Bible is clear in revealing not only the reality of miraculous events in the Book of Acts but also their purpose. One of the main purposes of the miracles in the Book of Acts was to create a platform for preaching and evangelism for the Apostles. The miracles in the book of Acts were not for the direct benefit of those performing the miracles or for material purposes. They were for the purpose of authenticating the message about Jesus. GENUINE MIRACLES Miracles are seals of a divine mission.…
