Throughout the semester, we have explored the many miracles performed by Jesus. Miracles are considered to be a welcome event that is the work of divine Jesus. O’Collins supports the concept of Jesus being divine and performing miracles successfully on page 59 by stating, “The personal authority with which Jesus taught and performed his miracles was blatant.” One of the many miracles performed by Jesus is his healing of the Paralytic Man. As stated in Mark 2:1, “A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people head that he had come home.
