Mirabel's Story: JFK International Airport

Mirabel’s hair shines, beautiful blonde curls flowing behind her resembling waves in the ocean, as she steps out of the taxi and into the sun. She has captivating blue eyes, it seems almost as if the entire sky is locked up in her irises. She pulls her bags out of the taxi and then the taxi rudely speeds off down the street. She steps onto the sidewalk, takes in her surroundings, and then pulls out her camera. Mirabel takes a picture of the sign that says ‘JFK International Airport’. She puts her camera in her carry-on bag very slowly and carefully. She picks up her bags and turns towards the airport entrance. She begins to open the door but sees an old couple struggling with their bags. Immediately, Mirabel steps away from the door puts her bags on a bench, and approaches the old couple and asks if she can be of any assistance. She helps them take their bags to security, and then goes back to retrieve her bags. Mirabel looks at her watch and realizes she is about to be late for her flight. She sprints to the doors of the airport, which brings back memories of the days in high school that she was a track all-star. Mirabel goes through security and the heads to her terminal. However, all of the other people that heard the yelling but did not know what was going on looks at her like she a crazy old wombat.
She walks up the steps to the plane and just hears rampant laughter. She thinks to herself, “ Oh great! More crazy people to mess up my day.” Then, she hears people talking about the story-telling they will be telling on the plane ride. She decides to sit there until she decides that it is too much fun to resist. She introduces herself as Mirabel: The Photographer.
