The movie Minority Report By steven Spielberg, highlights a possible future as predicted by Deleuze in his “Postscript on the Societies of Control”, as well as Foucault's theory of Biopolitics. A neo-noir science fiction thriller loosely based off a short story by Philip K. Dick. In terms of themes, story and character development the movie was ahead of its time. The plausibility of the technology was impressive 90% of technology used in the movie is most definitely within reach by the time of 2054. This plausibility adds significantly to the themes ability to show through, as well as its impact on the viewer.
