Most people have a concept that could affect them directly or indirectly that is known as literacy. Literacy is the transfers of information from one person to another. Literacy is all about communication or understanding between two people or a group of people. Literacy can be in any fields of study besides reading and writing. A form of literacy, called social literacy, is the communication using words and engaging over a particular subject or idea. For example, a person reading another person’s body language, facial expressions, and much more. Social literacy is also the expression of one's idea and opinion. Social literacy can be mostly associate with social issues that is occurring, not only in the United States of America, but in the world in general. The social issue of the “minority becoming a majority” is where the minority group (african americans/blacks, hispanics, asians, etc.) becomes the majority and the current majority race (whites) becomes the minority group because each year, the whites slowly decrease while the minority groups gradually increases. This social issue is currently happening in the United States of America, and somewhere else in the world. There are many causes that could possibly explain why the United States and the world is becoming a minority-majority.
