Another reason that we believe Minnie is the murderer was because the way his body was placed is totally in the opposite direction from the shower. If he slipped on the soap as Minnie claims his body should be kind of in the shower. Also he has a toothbrush in his hand and if he slipped on the soap than his toothbrush should have flew out. That is the fact that his wife is trying to cover up for the crime she has done.
The other reason for the investigators to believe Minnie is the killer is that there's footprints in the shower and also out of the shower. It could not have been Horace because the way his body is placed on the floor does not match with the footprints and another things is they look like shoes prints. We understand that Minnie
