Based on the Federal bureau of labor and statistics and Pew research center the main workforce of the minimum wage work force are people who work for restaurant or foodservice industries which consists of workers the age of 30 years or younger. The government has already made a push for the increase of minimum wage this summer but failed to be mentioned. There have been organized labor unions specifically targeting food/ restaurants for the raise of the minimum wage. If we raise the minimum wage to $15 hourly then there will be more people employed than normal. Then that means there will be competition for positions in the job field and may place some unfortunate teens jobless. Though if we do increase the minimum wage the impact of the general
