The topic area that I am most interested in at this time is the minimum wage in the United States (U.S.). The title on this paper is not the title for my dissertation, I just haven’t thought of one as of yet. The reason this topic has captured my attention, is because there are numerous research available on the subject. However, I didn’t see a lot of recent research about certain occupations that I believe should be a good contribution to the study. Majority of the research that I have seen so far, are related to teen unemployment, the poverty level and tip workers. I am thinking also in terms of our military personnel, law enforcement and firefighters. I wasn’t sure about the reference list for the assignment, so I added a few possible references
