Minimum wage is a current argument that will go on forever. The current United States minimum wage is set at $7.25 per hour. The jobs that fall into this wage usually come from manual labor like the fast food industry. These current citizens that get paid minimum wage, struggle to support themselves and their families.
The minimum wage has fluctuated a lot throughout the past 25 years, and congress has recently considered passing the Fair Minimum Wage Act.
