One of the ongoing debates in the U.S. is the fight over minimum wage. Those that have studied and predicted the effects of an increase in minimum wage have voiced opinions on the positive and negatives. During my research on minimum wage increase, I have decided and increase would be an essential part in making the lives of U.S. citizens better. The flagship argument for an increase in minimum wage is it would, “increase economic activity and spur job growth”(Source 1). More money will be moving through the system as people make more. It becomes a cause and effect cycle where people’s wages increase to where they will spend more. In turn giving money back to the system as a way to repeat the cycle.
