I think that all employees should be paid the non-tip minimum wage, then be able to have their tip added on to their wage. I think this is the right way to go because there are taxes on their tips and wages, they will get tipped different amounts, everyone should get paid the same amounts, and tips should be a treat, not an expected finisher.
Firstly, every employee is going to have a wage that already has been taxed, meaning it will be even less. Lets say they make seven dollars an hour. The tax will be 49 cents. So they will only make $6.51 anyways. This will be bigger or smaller depending on how much they make, in this case they make less than $7.25, minimum wage. So with a tip, it could berely reach the minimum wage or it could not reach
