States’ minimum-wage hikes could cost them employment In this article they talk about how the workers want the government to raise the minimum wage because all other states raised their minimum wage except a few. More than half of the states currently have minimum wages above $7.25. Some of the employees decided to take this to the next step and protests on what they think is right. They also talk about how if they increase the pay for minimum wage workers that they will have to drop some of their workers. The government is trying to find a way that they can increase minimum wage without the job growth decreasing.
