The first step in initiating my organization is to purchase or be certain I have access to the correct equipment I would need for this organization. I would contact people who are knowledgeable about music and voice and people who have a passion for children. I would contact people who have taught me voice or helped with my music in some way in the past. Many jobs I would need do not require any music knowledge such as a group leader. I will need many volunteers to make my organization successful. Additionally, I would need to contact facilities. I will not need a permanent facility for my organization. The first facility I would contact is the First United Methodist Church in Starke, Florida because I am a member there and I have many connections and friends there. I am confident my church will donate their facility for my organization, however, if they are unable to, I have allotted money in the budget for the rental of a space, or I would contact other local churches. An essential component in initiating my organization is to make a date when this camp will take place. This will be a summer camp; however, I do not know exactly what date it will be at this time. It will be a five-day camp. There will be four days of instruction and the last day there will be a performance. The session will be from 9:30am to
