As the Director of the Activity Therapy Department at Poplar Springs Hospital, I am writing to you in support of, Melissa Mingloski and her desire for an internship with you in the Child Life Department.

I have been Melissa’s direct supervisor since October 2014. While working here at Poplar Springs she has shown a great desire to improve her skills and education. She has become an asset to the department due to her investment in her patients and willingness to help her co-workers. While she is always willing to facilitate groups with any population (adolescent, adult, active duty military or outpatient adults) Melissa enjoys working with our younger population more and wants to educate and improve her scope of practice and specialize in
