These limiting beliefs come from your conditioning you have undergone, over the course of time from your parents, relatives and so on. In order to outgrow these beliefs you need to push the envelop every time you engage into a task. Your results should exceed the expectation of the customer, client or boss whosoever you are responsible to. When you outgrow your beliefs you would have instilled a mindset that does not feel daunted by the journey you have travelled. And it can be rest assured that you will not fall into the trap of limiting beliefs anymore.
Another way towards developing a positive mindset is by writing down you goals and dreams on paper. Going a step forward, you have to prepare a dream/goal board in your personal space. Whenever, you approach a goal, it is advisable to break it into smaller steps and take one step at a time to accomplish the task in whole. Each small victory on the path will help you feel motivated towards your goal. You would not need to reinforce positive mindset because after accomplishing the goal – you can say to yourself “I did all of that”. It can be that boost which you require to plunge towards other goals that await

But failures are not all bad; in fact, I believe that they bring more positive outcomes than negative. They are not permanent and they are not self-defining, failures do not identify my worth or abilities, but rather present opportunities for growth. They are simply obstacles, roadblocks, as well as stepping-stones, to success. Without the obstacles that I have faced and overcome in my life, I would not have experienced personal growth to the extent that I am glad to say I have accomplished. Some failures seem worth defining and diminishing to my personal…

In GPS 1010, I have learned that a person’s mindset is established in (1) a particular way of thinking; or (2) a person’s attitude and set of opinions about something. In addition to these items, one can either have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset. These mindsets play a huge role in one’s success or failure. The mindset has “two meanings to ability, not one: a fixed ability that needs to be proven and a changeable ability that can be developed through learning” and repetition. To sum up, “the fixed mindset makes you concerned with how you’ll be judged; the growth mindset makes you concerned with improving.”…

Mindsets are a type of belief and it can be easily changed. Mindset also connects to my beliefs because I believe that failure is not permanent. By learning from my mistakes, I can make sure that I know how to deal with the situation in case it happens again. For example, if I fail on a math test, instead of giving up and stop studying for the next test, with my growth mindset I can talk to a teacher for more help or I can study even harder on upcoming text. By using grit, it prevents me from giving into my mistake because I could always rebound my grade back up.…

The most important thing is how we learn and are able to benefit from our previous failures. The first reaction of failure for some, is that they view their failures in a positive way rather than seeing the negative side of the situation. They are able to see the benefits that they gain from being positive. In the same way I agree with how the authorsaid “… a potential stepping stone to new ideas.” First of all, most people have had past experienceswith their failures.…

According to Dweck, Carol S., Ph.D., who wrote the “Mindset Theory,” “People with a fixed mindset believed that their traits are just given.” In other words, a person with a fixed mindset assumes that they cannot learn and do schoolwork.
