Mina is an 8-year-old girl of mixed Persian (father) and American (mother) heritage who is in second grade in school. Her mother brought her in because she is not getting along with the neighbors. She has difficulty understanding other people’s emotions loops since 6 months ago. A recent example is when she was bored on a hot summer day: she climbed up the wall, went to the roof site while she was holding the hose with the full power and she splashed the neighbor, who was walking through his house. She flashed him with the water. When he complained to her mother, Mina was shocked. She explained that she was trying to cool him down with the hose.
