In my novel The Tale of Despereaux the themes main concept was forgiveness. My novel starts off as a love, hope and empathetic story slowly leading to the concept of forgiveness. This was a result of the main character in my novel( Despereaux) getting a death sentence from his own father and the mouse committie, but slowly over the course of the novel he forgives his father… as Despereaux quotes it I forgive you father, as I slowly started to cry. One fundamental reason that I thought the theme was mercy or forgiveness was the fact this apologetic degaview happened to every main character that was struggling mentally or behaviorally. This shows that at the beginning of the story, Laura was fueled with hatred and revenge towards her father’s offender and views this world as unjust and unforgiving, but that all changed when she witnessed the gunman repenting on his actions as she interacted with him and his family. Eventually, she learns to forgive the gunman. When people like Laura forgive their offenders, it changes the world that they once viewed as unjust and unforgiving fueled by hatred and revenge to a world of forgiveness and…

When Kids Get Life The cases that were presented in this film, were all very tragic and tough to watch. Not only for the children who committed these crimes, but for the loved ones of the victims as well. To me personally, the act of vengeance was what was achieved in many of these cases. While I do feel that Juveniles should be held accountable to violent crimes committed, I also see the potential of rehabilitating and correcting the problems with counseling and treatment.…
