Millsap's: My Reflective Essay About Myself

Throughout my years at Millsap’s, my freshman year taught me the most about myself and my abilities as a Millsap’s student. From my freshmen year courses, such as Heritage, Ventures and Connections, I understood that learning how to properly write was the foundation to my college career here at Millsap’s. I learned the expectations that my professors require of my writing that I would have to continuously have to work towards throughout my time here at Millsap’s.
With each semester and new class, I have experienced many new ways to write different types of essays. From my freshman year to the end of my sophomore year, I have written multiple papers ranging from the topics of science, business, psychology, history, and many more. The paper is from my first semester freshmen year. I uploaded it for the purpose of showing another area of study in which I have taken since my time here at Millsap’s. I also uploaded it to hopefully show the progress I have made with my writing skills since freshmen year. The last paper I have uploaded was a lab report from Intro to Cell Biology that I took my fall semester sophomore year. I am not proud of this paper, and believe I could have done better on it. I decided to upload it to show how my time at Millsap’s has challenged me to come out of my comfort zone and write papers I am not familiar with. Even though I am not proud of this lab report, I view it a step in the progress of me becoming a better writer. Along with the papers I have also uploaded a video I made with a group of classmates freshmen year. This video is to show a more fun side of my classes and the projects that they require.
