The 20th anniversary of the Million Man march took place yesterday. The overarching theme was justice or else insisting that we as a people wake up and be the change that we want to see. Minister Farrakhan made it his business to address several issues to a specific community, the black community. The Muslim community in collaboration with various others were able to make this monumental event happen through trust and teamwork. The march brought out the black community to reestablish a sense of wholeness, shared culture, social and political participation, and appropriate development mental measures for young people.
