We think that Millard-Mendez's work will have some effect on us. This piece took us a little bit of time to understand but then once we recognized the significance of it we realized what was going on a bit. The entire idea of climate change and moving to higher ground was a bit of a shell shock. The concept that, as a nation, there is no alternative other than moving to higher grounds if the oceans began to rise was nonexistent. We agree that the work is a little bit inspiring to do more than what we do now. Things such as picking up a water bottle and tossing it into the recycling bin, or repurposing things such as a storage tote into something different. His idea has impacted us to see what is going on around us and do our part to help
